In 2025, I had the honor of attending the Trainers’ Meeting of the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy, held in Bucharest, Romania. This participation marked an important and historic milestone both for me personally and for EFT ARMENIA.
This was the first time that EFT ARMENIA, as an ISEFT-accredited center in Armenia, took part in the official Trainers’ Meeting. For me, as the head of the institute, one of the most emotional and meaningful moments was at the opening of the meeting, when the newly accredited institutes—including EFT ARMENIA—were formally welcomed into the international trainers’ community. It was a moment of recognition, responsibility, and deep gratitude.
A particularly special and heartfelt moment of the meeting was the farewell ceremony honoring Jeanne Watson, who was recognized by the ISEFT Board for her invaluable contributions. At the same time, ISEFT warmly welcomed Jan Reidar Stiegler, who will join the ISEFT Board, continuing the work of leadership and development within the international EFT community.
Participating in this meeting was not only a significant professional privilege, but also an important step in the development of EFT in Armenia—strengthening our connection to the global community and reaffirming our commitment to the highest standards in training, supervision, and clinical practice.
