On February 27, 2025, an introductory seminar on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) was held at the” Ayg Psychological Services Center” for a professional audience of psychologists.

The seminar was delivered by the Founder of EFT ARMENIA and focused on the introduction of the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy (ISEFT), as well as the theoretical foundations, methodological framework, and clinical applications of EFT.

The presentation covered the distinctive features of this therapeutic approach, its differences from other modalities, and the central role of emotion as the primary mechanism for therapeutic change. It also demonstrated how EFT can be systematically integrated into professional practice to support clients in understanding, experiencing, and processing their emotional experiences.

Participants were actively engaged in discussions, raised professional questions, and explored the practical applications of EFT. Interest in the topic was high, with several participants joining the seminar online.

This initiative represents another important step in advancing evidence-based, emotion-focused clinical practice in Armenia and promoting international professional standards.
